I am apartment hunting in downtown Chicago and I need to find a place that meets two criteria: it needs to have a home office since I work from home, and it needs to be pet friendly for my dog Max. The Loop is the ideal neighborhood for me because it’s close to work and there are plenty of restaurants and bars nearby. I’m going to start my search by looking at apartments near the river. Hopefully, I can find a place that’s close to the action but still quiet enough for me to get work done. Wish me luck!

If you’re also apartment hunting in downtown Chicago, then you know how difficult it is to find a place that meets all of your needs. If you have any tips or advice, please feel free to share them in the comments below. I could use all the help I can get!

Here are the ones I am thinking of checking out:

  1. Hugo Apartments in River North: A luxury apartment building with amenities like an outdoor pool, dog runs, gyms, and co-working spaces.

  2. Lawrence Lofts in Uptown: Located in a historic landmark building, offering a private rooftop deck, park with grills, dog park, and more.

  3. The Convent Apartments in Lincoln Square: Features eco-friendly elements and unique floor plans in a building that was formerly a convent.

  4. The Post Chicago Apartments in Lincoln Park: A new peer-living community offering fully-furnished private apartments and co-living suites.

  5. The Raven Residences in Ravenswood: Offers sophisticated, modern apartments and luxury townhomes with premium amenities.

  6. The 808 Cleveland in River North: A high-rise with luxury amenities such as a pool, spa, gym, and stylish common spaces.

Thanks for reading and good luck with your own apartment search. Hopefully, we can both find a place to call home soon. Until then, happy hunting!
